129th Boston Marathon Presented

The 129th Boston Marathon, presented by Bank of America, will take place on Monday, April 21, 2025. Registration for qualified athletes opened on September 9, 2024, and closed on September 13, 2024. The qualifying window began on September 1, 2023. Participants with 10+ consecutive Boston Marathon finishes had early registration access from August 26-30, 2024.

Registration Process: Applications were ranked based on how far runners exceeded their qualifying times, not on a first-come, first-served basis. Acceptance notifications will be sent in early October.
