They are designed for kids ages 5 through high school with permanent lower limb impairments (e.g. Spina Bifida, Spinal Cord Injury, Amputee, Cerebral Palsy, and others). Wheelchair basketball promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and FUN! Not all players use wheelchairs for everyday mobility.
