Can’t Stop Me- Rock Steady Boxing

Who can participate:
All individuals with Parkinson’s Disease regardless of age and disease progression. Modifications will be made for individuals as necessary. Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease looking to improve their tone, rigidity, and overall function. Individuals do not need music experience to participate in this program.

Scholarships are available. No one will be denied participation due to financial concerns.

Veterans with a disability are able to participate in STAR programs for free.

What to bring:
Water bottle
Sweat towel
Comfortable clothing
Shoes suitable for activity
Care partners are welcome to attend and participate with you, at no extra cost
The STAR Center provides all equipment necessary for each program.

Social and refreshment time
Social and refreshment time will follow each of our sessions. This is an opportunity for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and their Care Partners to talk with one another and build a community.

COVID-19 disclaimer
The STAR Association follows CDC, State and County Health Department recommendations for COVID Mitigation. We recommend that all who are eligible to get a vaccine to do so. Masks, social distancing and proper hand washing will be required at all STAR programs.
