Marin Morrison Swim Meet

Sponsored by Pacific Northwest Swimming, the Marin Morrison Memorial Swim Meet honors PNS swimmer and 2008 U.S. Paralympian, Marin Rose Morrison. A promising able-bodied swimmer, Marin was stricken by a brain tumor in 2005. Subsequent resection surgeries left her with hemiplegia (paralysis on one side.) Moving to the Seattle area in late 2005, Marin defied doctors’ prognoses, supported by PNS clubs, Shadow Seals, West Coast Aquatics and Bellevue Club.
