Wheelchair Tennis

BlazeSports is thrilled to launch its second season of wheelchair tennis, further establishing this classic adaptive sport in its youth program roster. The Wheelchair Tennis Program welcomes athletes of all skill levels, from recreational to competitive, with experienced coaches providing training in chair maneuvering, swing technique, rules, positioning, and more. Athletes aged 6 to 22 years old with physical disabilities such as spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, amputation, limb difference, visual impairment, dwarfism, traumatic brain injury, and others are eligible to participate. This season, the BlazeSports Tennis Team will have the opportunity to engage in USTA Junior Division Tournaments and observe elite levels of adult league play. Equipment loan programs are available for youth members in need of sportschairs or tennis racquets, with inquiries directed to [email protected].
