Thresher Aquatics provides our adaptive SCUBA Divers and their families with positive life-changing experiences. Our modern, innovative, and integrative approach uses a model consisting of retreats, adaptive SCUBA Diving, and outdoor recreation. Thresher Aquatics is founded on the concept of connecting and reconnecting with those who need or have a desire to explore the world’s oceans and who may or may not be SCUBA Certified.

Our mission is to serve those living with disabilities and ultimately to build and enrich relationships through our adaptive diving endeavors. We strive to maintain a bond and build with each member of our Thresher family. Although we all share a passion for SCUBA Diving, ocean conservation and reef protection are integral in making a positive difference in someone’s life. We believe one small act of kindness can cause a ripple effect across our entire undersea community. SCUBA Diving and Snorkeling are just one of the many ways we connect adaptive divers with connections and memories that last a lifetime. The underwater experience provides a perfect weightless, zero gravity, environment where land mobility challenges disappear, and freedoms of movement are restored. We take full advantage of Vitamin-Sea therapy to improve the mind, body, and soul!

Thresher Aquatics supports and assists individuals who live with a variety of disabilities, including physical and developmental disabilities, vision and hearing impairments, amputations, traumatic brain injuries, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, paralysis and more. We’ve grown from a single compassionate person with a vision to a small volunteer staff of divers and non-divers alike. Thresher Aquatics continues to add members to our ranks who are on the same mission in life and strive to improve the lives for as many adaptive divers as possible!
