Nordic Skiing
Nordic Skiing, also known as cross-country skiing, is a form of skiing where the skier moves across snow-covered terrain using skis and poles. Unlike alpine skiing, where the skier remains fixed to the ski with both heels and toes, Nordic skiing involves a free-heel binding that allows the skier to glide in a more natural, striding motion. It encompasses various disciplines, including classic style, skate skiing, and biathlon (which combines Nordic skiing with rifle shooting).
Imagine combining the thrill of a workout with the beauty of winter scenery—it’s fitness, adventure, and snow-filled joy all rolled into one!
