We are a community program that teaches children from ages 5 through high school graduation: discipline, motivation, and self-worth through the adaptive sport of wheelchair basketball. We are the only adaptive basketball program in the Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex and have athletes come from all parts of North Texas, including cities bordering Louisiana, to join our program. The benefit of children participating in our wheelchair sports program is quite evident as they develop skills that will help them not only in basketball but in life as well as social interaction with their peers, physical fitness, and increased self-confidence. This program concentrates on the need of children with ambulatory issues to partake in wheelchair basketball.
