Idaho Commission for the Blind Summer Camp

The Idaho Commission for the Blind is hosting a kids’ camp at Pilgrim Cove from July 24th-29th, with daily activities led by AWeSOMe! including kayaking, hikes, water games, boat building, team-building, and drum circles.

The program caters to kids aged 7-17 with visual, developmental, or mobility impairments, offering adaptive equipment and personalized instruction for 90-minute lessons.

Participants must be medically stable, manage personal care independently, and be comfortable in water.

Lessons will be at Park and Pilgrim Cove Camp, with equipment provided. Scholarships are available based on financial need.

Contact Chris Wernert at [email protected] for details or to participate/volunteer.
