We believe the exhilaration of outdoor experiences changes lives. DSES aspires to be a leader in adaptive recreation by promoting a lifelong passion for mountain sports for people of all ages and abilities.
DSES creates and facilitates fun, inclusive, and individualized mountain sports opportunities for people of all ages and abilities by removing barriers to participation. We are community-centered around people with disabilities as well as their families and friends.
Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra is a volunteer-based nonprofit dedicated to changing the lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families by:
- offering year-round outdoor sports and activities
- creating inspiring challenges
- providing expert instruction and adaptive equipment
- rallying the community to comfortably accommodate people with disabilities.
