The City of Reno Inclusion/Adaptive Recreation Program purpose is: To ensure that all City of Reno facilities, programs, classes, and services are inclusive to all people regardless of ability. City of Reno offers adaptive recreation programming to include: wheelchair rugby, wheelchair basketball, sled hockey, adaptive cycling, Veteran programs, monthly spinal cord injury education luncheons, and our adaptive equipment rental program.
The City of Reno welcomes the opportunity to provide accommodations to people with disabilities so that full participation in leisure and recreation programs, classes, services and facilities may be enjoyed by all. Department staff embrace the provision of the Americans with Disabilities Act
