Sportable
Since 2005, Sportable has been creating opportunities and transforming lives of individuals with physical disabilities or visual impairments through sport in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding community. Sportable currently offers 16 ongoing adaptive sports and recreation programs that take place year-round, plus new wellness programs that help people with disabilities who may not otherwise consider themselves an athlete get active and find community. In addition to ongoing programs, Sportable also hosts regional and national tournaments inviting some of the best wheelchair basketball, tennis, and rugby players from around the country to come compete. Sportable is proud to be a leader in adaptive sports, recreation, and wellness, and strives to create innovative opportunities to empower people with disabilities to live active lives and be a part of a vibrant community!
